Round Lake Campus offers adult expeditions throughout the year. Individuals and groups may enroll in cross-country hiking trips, cultural tours, and art-based hiking trips. Both local and international options are available.
ADIRONDACK EXPEDITIONS
Walk & Watercolor Expeditions
Combine your outdoorsy and artistic sides in this 3-day synthesis of backpacking and watercolor painting. Explore some of the most iconic backcountry summits and lakes in the Adirondacks through an artistic lens as you travel along mountain trails and learn introductory watercolor technique. In the evenings, enjoy tasty backcountry meals over the fire.

INTERNATIONAL EXPEDITIONS
Tour du Mont Blanc
This guided tour leads hikers through France, Switzerland and Italy along the famous Tour du Mont Blanc. Walk on Alpine trails, past towering glaciers and alongside glistening streams with the comfort of carrying only the essentials. Lazy evenings are spent relaxing over a cold drink and a hearty traditional meal from rustic mountain huts.

Patagonia Expedition
In this tour of four of Chile’s national parks, you will drive in 4x4 vehicles along Chile’s most iconic road, boat through glaciated fiordes, hike a total of six days with stunning alpine views, and wanderlust the days away with majestic flora and fauna.

Italian Expedition: Alta Via 1
Team up with talented guides to take on the Dolomites of Northern Italy. The Alta Via 1 (AV1) is a world famous trek across the pale, rocky landscapes of the Dolomites. This 75-mile trail takes you along rocky ridgelines, winding valleys, and steep dolomite slopes.
