RLC Walk & Watercolor Expedition

Take to the forested trails and summits of the Adirondacks, trekking poles and paintbrushes in hand. This 3-day synthesis of backpacking and painting will carry you to some of the Adirondacks’ most iconic backcountry summits and lakes. You and your group will spend two nights camping in tents and lean-tos in the High Peaks Wilderness, where you’ll enjoy tasty backcountry meals beside the fire.
Before the trip, we’ll provide each participant with a simple and easily transportable watercolor kit. Under the expertise of talented artists, you will learn to paint postcards and miniature images of the colorful streams, maples, and rocky summits that surround you. At the end of the course, bring home your travelling watercolor kit so that you can continue to embark on backcountry painting adventures. This course is open to all levels of artists and explorers.
Programs begin Thursday evening. Arrive to go over your gear, pack your bags, enjoy a tasty farm-fresh meal, and prepare to head out the next morning.

Tuition:
$645 includes all meals, snacks & accommodations, experienced guides, group gear (tents & cooking supplies), transportation to and from the trailhead, and a take-home painting kit

- Reserve a spot in the program with a $25 non-refundable deposit
- Receive and fill out a Registration Packet, which includes an optional tuition assistance request
