FAMILIES

Time spent with family members at Rock-E House & Basecamp is more than a vacation; it is a renewal. Rock-E House & Basecamp provides an ideal setting to regain perspective and to achieve balance for another year of growth. We design custom programs for every season to bring families together in the splendor of the High Peaks Wilderness. Experiential retreats are designed around glamping trips, wilderness programs, farm stays, and design and build programs. Please contact us to begin planning your renewal today.

Using the Eileen Rockefeller House on Round Lake as base camp, explore the best of the Adirondacks with options for all ages. Options include farm-to-table meals, cooking instruction, arts, yoga, and farm chores.  You can also just strike out on the water and trails from the front door. Horseback riding, biking, hiking, skiing, rock and ice climbing, and trips with wilderness guides are available through RockE House & Basecamp or local agencies. Limited availability. Request dates by contacting Peter Bullock at pbullock@roundlakecampus.com.

Farm Stay Programs

Take in the season by staying and dining with us at the Eileen Rockefeller House on Round Lake. Enjoy yoga, barn and garden chores, guided hikes, horseback riding, cooking tutorials, or simply find time to relax and enjoy stunning views of Cascade and Pitchoff Mountains. Our chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, pigs and horses delight all ages. Enjoy farm-to-table meals as a family with food from our campus and other local farms.
