Horseback Riding

Week 1: June 16  – June 22, 2019

Week 2: June 23 – June 29, 2019

Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate rider, our experienced instructors will teach you the skills you need to build confidence on the back of a horse. You’ll learn how to care for our campus horses by helping with feeding, grooming, and mucking stalls. You will have extensive riding and equine programs, giving you plenty of time to build and develop your horsemanship skills. Riding sessions will include time riding on our mountain trails as well as skill-based lessons in the arena.

Riding workshops will be interspersed with a range of other activities around our mountain campus. Hike up to a mountain view, take canoes onto the lake, and help cook meals. You will share rooms with other students in our lakeside Eileen Rockefeller House and enjoy fresh meals prepared using ingredients from our farm.

Two sessions are offered. Students are welcome to attend for one or both weeks.

Tuition:

Overnight program: $1100 includes all meals, accommodations and supplies
